St Patrick’s Family Festival
 Saturday March 18, 2:00-5:00pm

St Patrick’s Cathedral Precinct
1 Marist Place, Parramatta

Free Entry

Despite the wet weather, the St Patrick’s Family Festival will still proceed in an adjusted format. The rides for the event have been cancelled but the music, dancing and food will still be on offer. The event will now take place in an indoor/covered section of the St Patrick’s Cathedral Precinct. Parking will now be available on-site in the overflow car park accessed off Victoria Road on the corner of Victoria Road and O’Connell Street.

Alison Boyd – whistles, accordion, vocals
Martin Horan – guitar, vocals
Sean McLoughlin – whistles, mandolin, vocals

supported by Irish Dancers from the Halloran Dance School

The Halloran Dance School is led by Donna, Leanne and Kate Halloran. Both Donna and Leanne are past National Irish Dancing Champions.


Food

A selection of Irish inspired food will be available for purchase at the Festival such as: an Irish Big Breakfast, Irish sausages, Black &White pudding, Irish Soda bread, potato bread, Colcannon (potato), a selection of Irish cheeses, buttermilk scones and other sweets.

 Getting there

Driving and Parking (around St Patrick’s Cathedral Precinct)

Parking will be available on-site in the overflow car park accessed off Victoria Road on the corner of Victoria Road and O’Connell Street.

Public Transport

The Parramatta Shuttle Bus is a free service that operates on a continuous loop around the city centre. The Prince Alfred Park bus stop is the closest to the location of the Festival. It runs every 10 minutes, seven days a week.

Train

St Patrick’s Cathedral is a 10-15 minute walk from Parramatta train station. Refer to Transport NSW to plan your trip.

Rivercat

St Patrick’s Cathedral is a 10-15 minute walk from the Charles Street wharf along pleasant riverside walking paths. Refer to Transport NSW to plan your trip.

Bus

St Patrick’s Cathedral is a 10-15 minute walk the Parramatta bus terminal is located in Darcy and Argyle Streets. Refer to Transport NSW to plan your trip.
